What are veterinary prescriptions?
A veterinary surgeon or suitably qualified person can write a prescription for your pet, just like a doctor would do for you.
Having your pet’s medicine dispensed by your veterinary surgery isn’t the only option available to you. It may be cheaper to ask your vet to provide you with a prescription to have dispensed elsewhere. Contact your nominated Murrays Pharmacy to obtain a competitive quote for your pet’s medicine, but please be aware that vets will charge for prescription writing services.
