How does the NHS prescription ordering service work?

When you resister with us, you will need to select the medication that you require. We will then check with your GP and look out for your NHS prescriptions which will be sent to us electronically. We’ll dispense your medicines in readiness for you to a) collect from local Murrays Pharmacy or b) have delivered to you, subject to you being within our delivery zone.

This service is available to patients registered with a GP in England. Some Surgeries do not allow pharmacies to order on behalf of patients (may be operating a POD scheme for example). If this affects your Surgery, we will get in touch with you to discuss alternatives for ordering your medication once you have registered with us.

If you are still unsure and require further guidance please contact our Pharmacy Team by clicking here and complete the online contact form.
