Did you know that you can have your medical prescriptions delivered to your doorstep?
All you have to do is call your local Murrays Healthcare pharmacy and tell us what you've been prescribed and by which surgery, and we can either:
- Get your prescription ready for collection at the designated Murrays pharmacy
OR
- Arrange a time and date to deliver your prescription straight to your door!It really is that easy.
Arranging a collection or delivery
Simply call your local Murrays Healthcare pharmacy, CLICK HERE for details, once your doctor has issued your prescription.
You will need to tell us:
- Which doctor's surgery has issued your prescription, ie we may need to know the full address.
- When you want to collect it? Or When you want it delivered, ie when you'll be in to accept receipt?
- Any special directions to your home address for delivery?
- How many items you wish us to collect or have us deliver?
- Your name, telephone number and prescription delivery address?
- Any special instructions, ie can we leave your prescription with a representative/relative?
Please note, we will try to deliver no more than twice to your address and we cannot leave medicines unpaid for or unsigned for.

Prescription Collections or Delivery Costs
We can deliver NHS prescriptions across the Midlands based on the following charging sctructure:
- Up to 5 miles from the nearest Murrays Pharmacy - FREE OF CHARGE
- More than 5 miles but less than 7 - £5.00
- More than seven miles - £5.00 minimum and £2 for each additional mile.
We can take cash on delivery, plus the Government's dispensing fee (usually £7.20 per item).
