Contact your local Murrays Healthcare pharmacy for advice on whether you're entering a Malarial Zone or not (at Murrays, our records are kept regularly up-to-date). Get advice on the type of medication recommended as anti-malarial. Most can be bought at any decent chemists, though some may require a visit to your doctor. Most anti-malarial medicines need to be taken one week before your trip - so make sure you leave plenty of time. Many pharmacists offer to run a health check, to reduce the likelihood of any side effects if you are obliged to take certain medicines. Take positive action.
